Home ownership is an asset backed debt whereas education related debt is unsecured debt. However, debt remains debt. I think we need to reconsider debt, in any form, in the education ecosystem. At present it seems like we all became that proverbial frog that was kept in the pot of water where the temperature was raised very gradually to boiling.
